Triage Teams

Command and Control

• Report to Primary triage officer
• Confirm location and entry/exit point of Bronze cordon

Safety

• Confirm hazards in the Bronze zone
• Check you are wearing appropriate PPE
• Confirm emergency evacuation plan

Communication

• Confirm the communication plan with BMC or PTO

Assess

• Sketch the layout of your sector
• Identify all potential hazards.

Triage

• Triage and label the casualties
• Log casualty numbers (TI,T2,T3, DEAD) and locations on scene

Treatment

• Catastrophic haemorrhage control and airway opening manoeuvres / adjuncts
• Request medical teams for entrapments
