Primary Triage Officer

Command and Control

• Take orders from Bronze Medical Commander
• Appoint and brief triage teams
• Confirm Bronze cordon and emergency evacuation plan.

Safety

• Confirm hazards in Bronze area
• Ensure appropriate PPE is worn

Communicate

• Update Bronze Medical Commander Regularly
• Ensure comms equipment for triage teams

Assess

• Assess scene to determine hazards and casualty location
• Determine sectors/access egress routes
• Establish personnel and equipment available for triage

Treatment

• Confirm treatment plan in Bronze area

Transport

Refer to incident layout for casualty pathways/casualty collection point
