Command and Control

• Receive orders from Silver Medical Commander
• Appoint and brief a Secondary Triage Officer (STO), Team leader and CLO

Safety

• Site a Casualty Clearing Station
• Ensure CCS personnel have appropriate PPE

Communicate

• Check Comms and start a log
• Maintain regular comms with BMC and SMC

Assess

• Consider CCS locations
• Optimise casualty treatment and flow

Triage

• Confirm triage system to be used

Treatment

• Configure optimal use of treatment areas
• Ensure adequate medical supplies

Transport

• Liaise with Casualty Loading Officer to coordinate casevac to receiving hospital. Right patient, right place, right time
